Bits & Pieces

Here’s a fun site I go to every once in a while, Bits & Pieces.  It is a great collection of odd and humerous things from the internet.

Feline Senses Impending Deaths

CNN tells of a cat that makes rounds at a nursing home and knows when a patient is within hours of death.  Quite fascenating.

Let the Drooling Begin

It is Harley Davidson’s 105th anniversary and the 2008 Harleys are out. Of course what I’m interested in is the Road Glide.  Now with a black engine (something I sorely missed when I got mine), fuel tank increased from five to six gallons and Brembo brakes with optional ABS. Harman/Kardon stereo wouldn’t be bad either.  Good stuff.

For something different from the motor company, check out the Rocker Tail with a 240mm rear tire.

Memphis Hearing Aid

Yes, I know I’ve written about my satisfaction with Memphis Hearing Aid before, but I’ve just gotta bring it up again. Their customer service has been stellar - even though I’m over 2,000 miles away. If you are in the greater Memphis area and in need of audiological services, you owe it to yourself to check them out.

Death of the Salesletter

Just ran into this article by Michel Fortin about changes in effective internet sales methods, namely the diminishing results of the long salescopy site (thank God). I totally agree. Check it out.
