A Vaughn S2 at Last!
January 31, 2008 by David.
I finally got the Vaughn S2 hammer, you know the one that won awards for its innovative design. You won’t mistake it for any other hammer, that is for sure. I have yet to put in a long day hammering with it - it just came - but it is nicely balanced and you can immediately tell it has some shock absorbsion.
The S2 is available at Amazon. You may also want to checkout www.tarzantools.com. With a name like that it just got my curiosity up and I found they carry some cool tools and it is run by a really nice guy - always a plus.
Look out. The boy has a new hammer and everything in sight looks like a nail!

Flathead Power
January 30, 2008 by David.
My favorite looking Harley engine is the “knuckle head.” Well, check out what S&S is up to. They’ve bought Flathead Power, their first purchase in 50 years, and will be shipping in a few weeks. Meanwhile check out www.FlatheadPower.net. A 120″ knuckhead! Holy Cow! Now that would look fucking good in my planned redo of my springer (a.k.a. Bad Boy Bobber).
